It's Ash, from the creators newsletter. I ghosted you.
Two years and change. No posts, no emails, nothing. The kind of disappearing act that makes people assume you either died or got arrested. I managed neither.
What actually happened was less funny. My health completely fell apart. Physical and mental, at the same time, and it got bad enough that I had to choose between staying online and staying alive. I chose alive.
I left because I couldn't do anything else, and I never stopped caring.
I wrote, and I asked myself a lot of questions I'd been dodging.
I took client work, too.
These last two years I got to build for all kinds of small business owners.
A playing-card company. Construction and machinery companies. I redesigned websites, rebuilt funnels, ran ad campaigns, and designed custom software.
Markets I'd never touched, problems I'd never seen.
It stretched my brain in a way I hadn't felt in years. And it did something I didn't expect.
It stretched my brain in a way I hadn't felt in years, and it showed me the "why" runs the same underneath cards, machines, and software.
I owe you this part straight. I was struggling too, on my own socials.
The woman who got paid to crack this for everyone else couldn't crack it for herself.
I ran a whole newsletter built to get creators' brand partnerships. Poured everything I knew into it.
And people read it; that part worked. But reads were never the goal. The deals were.
And for a lot of you, the deals never came, or they came small. That still stings. I was sad first, then angry, because I'd given you all of it and the partnerships you actually deserved still weren't showing up.
So I took two years and pulled the whole thing apart. Why it worked for some and not the rest. Why the same email kept landing in my inbox from different people.
And I hit something I'd spent 12 years walking around.
Knowing what works and understanding why it works turned out to be miles apart.
Most of my career, I only needed the first one.
I was paid for the result, so I chased the result. The math, the creative tests, and the arguments I had with myself at 2am, all of it just hardened into instinct.
Clients called it āmy magic." Honestly, so did I. Post goes up, numbers come in, and on to the next.
Why it worked, I never had to answer. It worked. Who cares. Me, apparently.
You can't hand a person magic. You can't teach a shrug. If I wanted to actually give you the thing I do,
I had to switch off the autopilot and take my own head apart, piece by piece, until I could see the machine running under the instinct.
Those unfamiliar markets are what forced it. You can't run on instinct in a world you've never worked in. You have to see the gears.
A dead account gets you nowhere, and no brand looks twice at a room thatās empty. It's why you keep buying the next hook formula, or posting calendar, some little trick that swears it'll grow your following and your bank account.
None of it goes anywhere near what's actually emptying the room.
You've been writing to a category.
"Women 30 to 50." "Small business owners." A bracket can't hear you, so the room stays empty, and every hack you throw at it just stacks the silence higher.
I went back through my own work, the posts that hit and the campaigns that printed, and every single one carried the same fingerprint.
I'd found one exact person, a real human in a real moment, and I'd written one idea that spoke to them and nobody else.
That's the magic I could never put into words.
Get narrow, all the way down to one real person and one idea built only for them, and the room fills.
It's fixable. And instead of just telling you that, I built you the fix for free.
I call it PostIdeas.
Fifty post ideas a week, free, on Substack: postideas.substack.com
Take "small business owners." Useless. Nobody feels like one.
But the guy who bought a failing hardware store from his retiring dad, too proud to admit he's drowning, refreshing his sales numbers at midnight?
He's real. You can write to him. You can create for him.
He'll stop scrolling every time.
That's what's in the PostIdeas library. Over 2,000 specific people, each caught in a specific moment.
Each of the fifty is written for one of them.
Every idea aims at how a person feels right now.
These are fully developed ideas not like - talk about what you did over the weekend.
Every week youāll get 50 cards that look like this:

It's 50 cards that have a mixture of graphic, carousel, script, and thread ideas for specific people experiencing a specific feeling.
Meet a person inside the exact state they're already in, and the post reads like being understood.
Twelve years I've spent getting strangers to stop on a post and then buy the thing. My work has driven over $175 million in social sales. Plenty of it flopped, which is the only reason I trust what I know.
PostIdeas is all of that, pointed straight at your posts.
PostIdeas lives on Substack, not here.
This platform is built to sell. It's great if you want to stuff ads into your newsletter and squeeze it for revenue. I don't. I want the work of PostIdeas to be free, actually free, no ads, and paying to send it here just to give it away stopped making sense to me.
There's a second reason, and it's about you.
I've been a ghost for two years. Emailing thousands of people every week who forgot they know me would annoy you and land me in spam.
So I'm starting clean, with whoever actually wants me helping them every week, even if that's a few hundred people. I'm done chasing numbers that don't mean anything.
If that's you, if you want the weekly ideas and you want me in your inbox, come over. It takes ten seconds, and it's free.

One of the first posts over there is about the ten minutes after you post, when you're checking your views and you already know it flopped.
I'm sending a handful more of these over the next week or so, the teaching and the proof, and then this list goes quiet for good. Everything after that happens on Substack.
If you already know you want the weekly fifty, skip the wait.
